Very nice and clean, friendly staff. Would highly recommend the restaurant that is connected. My favorite was visiting with Hector though! He always had a comment to make me laugh when I was going thru the lobby. (I told him I'd leave a review, and finally 3 months later, I'm doing it!)

Downtown location. Big clean rooms with appliances so you can cook and eat in your kitchenette. We stayed here whilst our house was being painted so we weren't looking at eating out.

The pool was cold and the TV signal kept going out everytime we pivoted the TV. Also the manager was very rude or curt to me which was odd because I watched several people before me check in and he was pleasant and with a smile. But of course a black man would get the nastiest looks the city has to offer. I hate pulling the race card but you can tell the difference in how the customers are handled here. Saturday I overheard staff talking badly about a female guest and her children. Not my business but I didn't know they do that. There was also a drunk lady in the pool area asking children if they know where the bars are downtown and offering to buy them a drink. These kids couldnt be older than 12 or 13 so it seemed pretty unsettling to me. The rooms are nice and the restaurant over at the Renaissance had good food and the hotel location is great. I would not recommend to people of color or people with kids.

This hotel was the same price as the Marquette where is usually stay but my friend had a room here for the weekend so I booked this instead. Worst night at a hotel I had ever experienced. About once every 30 mins the furnace would start, it sounded like a diesel generator. The first few rounds I thought there was construction outside it was so loud. My fitness tracker said I slept for 1hr15min that night. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and the walls were so thin I could here people partying throughout the hotel all night when the furnace wasn’t running. I ended my trip early and didn’t even stay my second night. The shower was also just about unusable with how hard the spray was. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling back and it was outdated and dirty. The front desk staff was kind upon arrival and promptly refunded the parking I had been incorrectly charged for when I called the day after my stay. I know not to have high hopes for hotel breakfast but the only hot option was breakfast sandwiches that were not even close to as good as the worst gas station bkfst sandwich I’ve ever had. I will not return to this hotel. There are similarly priced hotels in the area that are luxurious.

No. They have a deal with a car service which has flat rates to downtown destinations. Also flat rates to the airport.
Minneapolis is very vegan friendly overall. Down the street are Sea Change ($$$) they are likely to accommodate vegan options. Also very casual Spoonriver. They have several vegan options. There is a decent Thai restaurant on the corner, Kindee Thai. Google restaurants near the Guthrie Theater.
