The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom though so there was mildew on the wall also they did a bad job patching holes in the walls. Convenient location near food and freeway. The breakfast was great and the breakfast area was nice and clean.

Though the halls are not up to par the rooms are absolutely surprisingly clean and the upkeep is very noticeable. This is coming from someone whom prides himself on cleanliness. The staff goes above and beyond for there customers from hospitality, cleaning and providing things to make my extended stay feel like home. The breakfast is also a huge bonus to the stay. No this is not a 5 star hotel but for the price you pay it is above and beyond anything in the surrounding area.

Checked into this hotel at midnight after driving 16 hours. Wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but wasn’t prepared for this disgusting place. People were smoking in the hallway of this supposed smoke free hotel and being extremely loud well after midnight. Room was filthy with black mold on the walls, ceiling had water damage and chunks were falling on to the bed, carpet was shredded and peeling up. Room reeked of cigarette smoke! Turned down the bed to find hairs all over the sheets. Demanded a refund and went to the Best Western across the street. I would sleep in my car before ever going back to this bed bug infested dump. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost!!

This is not a 5 star hotel, and yes, there are homeless people (with their children) living there via an arrangement with the county. Pretty much most of the hotels in this area have that same arrangement. This did not bother me because I treat all human beings with respect, dignity and in kind, they reciprocated. Hey, it’s just the simple the Golden Rule! The staff was exceptional; they were very helpful and accommodating, which in these times is very difficult to find. My room, although in need of some touch up, was functional, secure and generally nice. And most important to me, the BEDS and bathroom were sanitary. To housekeeping; keep up the great work in this area! Next time I visit Fort Collins I will again be staying at the Clarion. Thank you for a nice stay and wonderful experience!
