We stayed after the Bike MS event. The rooms were well appointed, had decent space and had been updated. They were also clean. The service at check in was not the best first impression. One of the staff folks seemed to question what they were doing. And a bit more detail would have been helpful

Positive: Great price. Staff helped us out with free parking. Very clean room Negative: Room was clean. Bed was comfy, but we were assigned a basement level room which just felt cold and damp.

The website says pet friendly, but the hotel was not pet friendly unless you were in certain rooms which was specified no where on the website or at any point when I was making the reservation. Then when I got there they decided to tell me, I told them we didn't have anywhere else for the dog to go so they tried to downgrade me for their mistake and acted inconvenienced by ME. Not professional. Not to mention they then charged me $100 to have the dog there for TWO nights. Not only that we had our papers stating our dog is an emotional support animal and they said they don't consider that valid. Highly displeased with the service and information. I reserved a king suite and had to walk across the parking lot to other buildings for literally everything. The room itself was nice as well as the location, but I will not be staying again.

After skiing 12 straight days in Vail, Beaver Creek, and Breckenridge we spent the night at this hotel before returning home on 1/31/22. That evening, I turned on the shower and stepped into the rear of the tub. I noticed that there was a floral strip of tile on the wall where the safety bar is usually located. As I approached the shower head, both of my feet slid on the slippery tub bottom and I could feel myself falling backwards over the side of the bathtub towards the floor. I somehow managed to grab the clear shower curtain as I was going down. I was expecting to hit both elbows and the back of the head on the floor, but as the plastic clips on the shower curtain released from the rod, it slowed me down just enough not to be seriously injured. Whatever they are cleaning the tubs with is making them super slippery when they get wet. There are small rings imprinted in the bottom of the tub, but they are smooth and provide no traction when you get in. The hotel also did not provide a suction mat for the shower floor. With no safety railing and no mat to stand on, shower here at your own peril.
