Don’t recommend to anyone. We moved in at the very begging, we experienced multiple break ins to the “secure garage” someone got shot in the lower parking lot. Domestic violence was a consistent thing at ascent. And any complaints to management/ the police were useless. My roomates bike was attempted to be stolen not once but twice. “Camera” right in front of the spot but some how we never saw who did it. Why? Because ascent really enjoys hiding things from the residents. It was always so odd how much stuff they hid from the residents. Wouldn’t shock me if a employee was behind all the break ins. With the security & car patrols & cameras how do so many things get stolen. Unless you want to be robbed money wise and personal belongings this is the place for you. If you have half a brain go elsewhere. Dog areas are never cleaned. Dog got sick twice from the potty area causing a 500$ bill from lack of sanitation. I also understand places go through small issues, but ascent never changed. Lack of insensitive I’m sure. Not to mention the company chased away any good workers they had. Such a shame. I wish I could rate it lower. What a unpleasant experience. Never again. Save your money there is cheaper and more quality safer apartments then these. The security is trash and easy to override. Always seeing doors tapped so they wouldn’t lock. You arnt safe.

Ascent Apartments has been the worst multi-family property I have lived at since being a renter post-college. It all stems from the management, which is totally incompetent. The management and leasing office team has changed multiple times since I moved in during December 2020, and has gotten progressively worse each time. As a resident, you cannot get anyone to answer phones in the leasing office, even during posted office hour times. Sometimes I will call 5 times in a day, and leave a voicemail, and never get an answer or return call. Our garage gate for paid garage/underground parking has also been broken and left our cars insecure and vulnerable for around 6-7 months of the 15 months that I have lived at ascent, which has led to other residents getting things stolen from their vehicles. Worst of all is the management’s overseeing and handling of maintenance issues. When I moved into my apartment in December 2020, the apartment was new and there was a missing kitchen cabinet door that they told me was delayed and not installed due to supply issues from the pandemic. 15 months later, that door still is not installed, even though I have submitted 9 maintenance requests and had multiple emails/phone calls/in person conversation with the management team at ascent. The only person who has been remotely helpful is a regional manager for the overseeing apartment management company, and she can only do so much being based in Minnesota. Save yourself a lot of headache and hassle, and a poor living experience, and steer clear from ascent apartments.

I love it here!!! I have been here 3 months and have absolutely loved the staff they have been beyond helpful and extremely easy to work with the people complaining about this place are living in a delusional reality!! Things break and it has absolutely nothing to do with anyone except the people who live here breaking things!!! Thank you ascent for giving me a safe beautiful place to live thank you to the staff for being absolutely amazing!

Utterly incompetent management team. It's easy to get sucked into how nice this very new apartment is at first glance, but it's riddled with issues that you would expect an older apartment to have. The management team will NOT make an effort to address your issue/complaint in a timely manner, and what's worse is that they carry themselves with such oblivious confidence which leads to misinformation and gaslighting the residents with pretense that all is well.

It doesn't appear to be. Although the apartment nearby, Eaton Street Apartments, is for low income residents.
