So it's not even worth giving them a bad review here, it won't change anything. However writing/ giving a review about EFinancial to Better Business Bureau (BBB) might actually lead to some resolution.

Called while shopping around I told the agent who I spoke with I am not ready to buy he said ok you wont be charged until you say go ahead . Well I checked my acct. today and I was charged . I had to spend an hour on the phone trying to cancel. When I called the agent he said "Its not my fault you don't know how the life insurance business works" . He was very rude and not upfront about what was going on . Then he said next time you try to buy life insurance you will know. Well I did buy life insurance and it was cheaper and they waited for me to say yes I would like to buy from you.

Unprofessional, rude, misleading. The agent I spoke to (Maria Garcia) misled me to signing up for a Life insurance package. They will not tell you that this is only an accidental insurance policy. They will not clearly inform you that you will be charged for it even before you review and sign the document on a hard copy. They trick you to providing a "voice signature", based on which your credit card will be charged even if you do not sign in a policy document. I am fighting a dispute with them when I realized that I have been charged for a policy which I have not signed personally, for several months. Beware. May be not all agents are like the one that I encountered.

The thing is, eFinancial is a broker. They help people obtain insurance. The claims process is solely handled by the insurance companies they work with. After the policy goes into place, the insurance company is the only one to deal with. I'm sure there are plenty of people who couldn't get paid out on policies, but there are stipulations and reasons why they didn't get to make a claim on said policy.
Please reach out directly to the insurance company you have coverage with. They will be able to help you. Once a policy is active you need to talk with the carrier you have coverage with and not the broker.
