My friend and I rented a log cabin for one night so that we can take our kids to Carowinds for 2 days. The resort provided the park tickets along with shuttle service to and from the parks throughout our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The shuttle driver was also informative and friendly. The cabin was super cute and all 7 of us slept well, 2 adults, 1 kid and 4 teenagers. We will definitely be returning here next year.

Love staying here! We are season pass holders but live an hour away. Sometimes itβs nice to stay in the rv park because we can break up the day and take more rest breaks. The shuttle is very convenient and the drivers are always nice. Sites are big and most are shaded. Office staff is always friendly and easy to work with for date or site changes. This is one of our favorite campgrounds. I wish the laundry and pool stayed open later. Havenβt been able to night swim hereπ₯²

Nice campground. Itβs been probably 20+ years since I was last here. Very clean, nice bathhouses and by staying here you can pay $80 for park tickets and come and go as you please. They also provide a shuttle over to the park from here as well.

This campground was so much fun for us and the kids, there were lots of kids around because itβs near the amusement park, so my kids were in heaven and did not want to leave. There are many fun things to do in the area which is nice (besides the amusement park we went to a kids science museum and a sky zone trampoline place And there are many places to eat not too far away) we had a blast!

You are going to need to call them. I believe they do have a long term stay area but it may be separate from camp wilderness.
You need to call or check online. It is extremely hard to get short notice reservations.
Yes you can. We were there last week for 10 days and there were a few campers that had golf carts.
It varies on the time of year
It is not that far north of the campgrounds. I would saw around 40 mins.if traffic is not heavy.
The rates vary on weekdays vs weekends and busy times vs less busy. I've paid between $28 - $45 per night when I tent camp there. Also, their regular tent camping area is currently under construction (April 2019), but they will allow you to rent camp in the camper/RV areas. Just give them a call.
