Visiting the area and stopped for a meal. Had sirloin as New York strip was unavailable. It was cooked fine served with hot fries. Tender, nice size. Had leftovers. Had a salad (extra) but it could benefit from more rinsing. The server was nice but a little forgetful of requests. Worth a try if you are passing through and looking for basic American fare.

Got a pregnant wife who can barely eat and she wanted a baked potato, called them up and they asked if we wanted “the works” (most people would assume sour cream and all that stuff). Went in paid for it and got home to find it had onions, ham, and mozerella cheese. That’s it no normal baked potatoes toppings. Now she can’t even think about eating a baked potato and won’t be able to eat anything else.

I honestly thought this was a typical chain restaurant, but read on the website that they’re locally owned. Came in with my son and we were well taken care of from start to finish. The servers were so nice! I got the chipotle chicken salad - the portion was huge! Couldn’t finish even half of it. Would recommend to split between two people. My son’s eyes lit up when he tasted the bacon cheeseburger. He said it was the best burger he’s ever had (and he’s had many). My only tiny complaint is that the coffee was like warm. Other than that, great food and at service.

Husband would actually say three-star. He thought the food was ok but was upset they didn't put his cheese on his beef dip. My son and I enjoyed the food far more. We liked the fries and just avoided the overcooked leftover ones. Chowder creamy and delish. Burger was still red which was doable but most places ask red or done....
