Excellent food. If you’re lucky enough to go on a night when they have the tasting menu it’s phenomenal. I don’t think there’s a better place in Williamsport.

Absolutely incredible, great service superb food. We even got to meet the chef/owner who was such a delight. Very pleasant and modest and interesting to listen to. It's BYOB so get a group together and come create your atmosphere. Think about leaning into the Mediterranean lifestyle and coming in at 7:30 or 8:00 for a quieter restaurant. Easily the best food I've had in at least a year.

I've been searching for food like this for my entire life! The reviews saying this place is fantastic are understating the reality of how incredible this food is. The chef uses flavors you wouldn't necessarily expect to mix well, but they go perfectly together. You can taste each individual ingredient, yet also taste the perfect flavor that they form collectively. The chef is a genius - with no formal culinary training, he masterfully creates, cooks, and presents food that is unique, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You'll be surprised to discover that he's even created flavors you've never tasted before, using ingredients you know and love. You can taste the passion in every dish. Saffron Grill deserves national recognition. Our minds were completely blown; other food will never be the same. We had escargot in a creamy beef demi glaze with mushrooms and dates and gruyere cheese ; mussels in a light spicy red sauce with white beans; pasta with lump crab, zucchini, squash, sun dried tomatoes, apricots, and a cream sauce; lampuca (swordfish, sausage, and clams); and braised short rib in a plum sauce over goat cheese mashed potatoes. (see pictures attached). The flavors were magical, the meats were fresh and melted in our mouths, the presentation flawless. The staff was fantastic as well. Our waitress was attentive, and struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional. She helped us choose our meals and explained the background of the restaurant, which was very interesting! Upon discovering it was my girlfriends birthday, she put a candle in our dessert, which was a very personal touch. Lastly, the atmosphere was top notch! Upscale but homey, we were seated in the back all by ourselves with a candle lit on the table, which was an excellent touch for our date night.

Surprisingly great food from what used to be a diner. The menu has a variety of amazing, complex dishes. Last I checked, this place lets you BYOB!

They will often have a list of specials for a few days. Their menu is small, bur amazing. Any whole fish is superb.They will post features on their facebook page.

People who are making it special dress up. Others just dress casually. You can make it what you want really.
Takes walk in on wednesdays and Thursdays but typically friday and Saturday are usually reservation only. Id reccomend calling ahead just to be sure.
