It would be better if they had better lighting inside for backing up with a trailer. I have a someone ride with me so to direct me when to turn the wheels.

Got charged a extra 25 dollars for what the lady at the window thought was a unsecured load. Funny how the gentleman in front of me had nothing strapped down and he didn’t get the extra charge. Was also told I need to understand the law better. Obviously on a power trip.

As far as transfer stations are concerned this place is great. Plenty of room and short wait times. Staff is always friendly but make sure your load is secured. You will be turned away or charged extra.

Clean and well-organized. You can drop off materials for recycling for free-everything except styrofoam. There’s a drive-through station, looks like a toll booth where they direct you to the huge garbage depot. Minimum load is $25. Look for the large wind vane sculptures at the entrance.

Shawn is wrong. All the stations take couches
No.

okay so they accept appliances like washers and dryers, dishwashers, they will accept aluminum foil, maybe stuff like that but they're not a actual scrap metal yard and especially since they are a county facility and are incorporated with such. they can't exactly accept things that used to be apart of a vehicle that had a VIN number. like for instance you have to provide that vin at the scrap yard like binford, or valley, Tacoma metals, snitzer steel, calbag metals, that kinda place if I were you I would just disassemble them as much as possible and see if they accept them as just nuts and bolts and random metal pieces I mean valley is great with that kinda thing I would try them over in algona if I were you. I wish Lenny still worked there he would contribute as much help as possible even on a 13 hour day the guy had a heart of gold and that's rare especially for a scrap yard employee who has to deal with... different kinds of people. hope that helps buddy!
They have an area for metal recycling
Yes they do take old water heaters, I don't think there is a fee. You can check their website.
Early mornings. Monday through Thursday.
Any goodwill will take TV's whether they work or not. They are partnered up with some recycling company

No
They will take as garbage in a personal vehicle.
Per the website: "$75 per ton with a minimum of $12 per entry." This is cheaper than the $25.25 minimum for garbage.
As long as there are no hazardous materials such as asbestos from a many-decades-old hot tub, I don't see why they wouldn't. They charge by the ton, though, so you might want to strip out the recyclable materials which are free to dispose of.
If it is metal you could try to take it to Enumclaw recyclers (reuse store) next to the new car museum
Yes, they have recycle bins for metal; it's free. Dump in the recycle bin marked metal only in the area which is located before the weigh station.
Yes in the scrap metal bin
