Never got a renewal notice, so I could not renew online without the pin and registration numbers. So I call the Public Inquiry Dept to get those numbers and get a 38 minute wait time. I hung up and called Watseka Secretary of State office, and the lady said bring in your tag number--that's it! So we drove to Watseka SOS office from St Anne, I went in, took a "now serving" number, sat down for 5 minutes, then the announcement, "Sticker Renewals ONLY?" There were two of us. Another couple of stress-free minutes and I was at the window, showed the picture of my plate, swiped my card, and was out the door in no more than 10 or so minutes. To be fair, this office and Hoopeston serve a much less dense population than Bradley does, so I am sure that figures into the experience, but I go HERE for therapy.

I am so glad we made the drive to Hoopeston DMV yesterday! The staff was capable of keeping up with the line and very kind and personable. Will be heading out for all S.O.S needs in the future.
