Mothers Day nightmare. We were seated in an area where the ceiling had been lowered to the extreme which concentrated the noise level to an outrageous volume. The floors of the dining area, kitchen and restrooms were filthy and littered. Next we learned that the appetizer we wanted was not available due to a kitchen failure and the soup was just not available. The sticky ribs appetizer was drenched in salt and the salad swimming in an oily dressing. Both had to be returned. The actual whites of the deviled eggs had really been fried and were totally disgusting. The skin on the Crispy Skin Trout was not crisp and the salad beneath it was ice cold. Despite that both were tasty as was the Spring Succotash. The steak was room temperature but was good. The drinks were enjoyable as well. The manager and members of his staff engaged in a loud altercation in the main room with the manager eventually stomping off through the facility. Meanwhile the kitchen staff and the order expediter continued to work diligently and quietly on getting the food prepared and served. Our server, Anthony was the soul of patience and courtesy despite the chaos and disarray. This was our first and last visit to this establishment.

I love this restaurant! We had a very friendly server. Don’t think because the price is big you will get a large portion of food because you don’t! It’s delicious but not large portions. I suggest making reservations, we were there for Hamilton and walked over and got lucky to get a high top in the Bar. They are enforcing mask rules if you are not at your table!

This place was my lunch date with my wife in Philly downtown. The food, service, and ambience was amazing. We specially loved the beyond veggie burger and it was amazing. Overall, I recommended this place.
