Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club is by far, the best range in Kitsap County maybe even the entire Kitsap Peninsula. The staff is super friendly and professional, they are very helpful and patient even with new shooters. The facilities can accommodate all manner of shooting activities (even archery) and the members are a fun group of gun and freedom loving folks. KRRC is open to the public, they provide education and encouragement to all levels of shooters and are very active in the competitive shooting world as well. If you are a new shooter or a seasoned one, you owe it to yourself to visit KRRC someday soon!

My wife and I showed up with some new guns we wanted to get used to handling and shooting. We were greeted by a well spoken range officer who was a testament to a well organized club. We signed in and got a safety briefing before heading down to the rifle line. There we found more club members ready help us and give us pointers. Overall an awesome experience.

Great range very helpful and knowledgeable people. Safety is paramount. Training is available and range masters are good people and friendly. I enjoy this local range and it's one of the better ones I've been to in Washington state. Keep this place open and thriving for future generations for gun safety, knowledge, training and recreation.

I've been to this club a few times and I have mixed feelings about them. It's a large club and many members were very friendly and always safe. The facilities are decent but nothing real fancy here. The biggest issue I have is the few range officers I've met and other official club leaders were often either unfriendly and sometimes very rude. I haven't been a whole lot, just a few times so I wondered if it was just a bad experience but this week I met a guy at Walmart and as we talked about where we shoot I asked him about KRRC and he said, "I never really liked them. Let's just say they weren't very accommodating to children and could be kind of rude." The cost has also become very expensive compared with prices in the past. It used to be about $60 a year + $100 or 10 hours of service. The price is now $200 for first year + the $100 or 10 hours. This means if you don't volunteer 10 hours you're looking at $300 for your first year. Subsequent years are $100 plus the $100/10 hours. Having said that the Gig Harbor Sportsman Club has less convient hours but their initial price is much cheaper. Although they can be almost as expensive if you shoot often but are much cheaper if you don't shoot often. I would join KRRC if they lowered their prices and were a little more friendly.

200 yards... When the county isn't trying to put them out of business. You can only use air rifles and archery , thanks to crooked KITSAP COUNTY prosecutor. Fair? honest? ---NO. NOT AT ALL.

What are the maximum calibers allowed on the range?

For now, air rifles and archery only. No firearms due to unfair prosecutor.

That's weird. I had the exact opposite experience. They are extra safe and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them for any and all training and classes.
