Self-checkout is confusing when it doesn't show the sale price. I ended up needing help after I tried to remove an item- the making added an extra instead.

This is the worst Grocery Store in Newberg. The outside area/ bottle return is always a mess. The bathroom is disgusting, the prices are outrageous, and no one knows how to operate an online GC at check out. Also the coupon app was broken the last time I was there. Luckily my checker was nice this time, and gave me the coupon discount since the app problem seems to be a reccuring issue. I only shop here as a last resort, and every time I say it's my last time.

Always clean and free of clutter. Friendly staff and fairly quick checkers. Only reason 4 rather than 5 stars is they are taking up 2-3 parking spaces for shopping cart storage that are store front spaces, and quite a few empty products/shelves, where across the street at Fred Meyers seem to not have an issue of keeping all products in stock. But using the Safeway digital coupons is an opportunity to save a bit of money

A smaller older Safeway store with shorter lines and better produce quality than the Freddy Kroger's across the street. Employees are also much more friendly at Safeway. Wish Albertsons (Safeway) would remodel or build new store with meat counter.
