Not for a stay. The grounds are amazing! The staff, kind. The overlook in the water and facilities are beautiful. It's not cheap, but could be worth the $$$$, if you pick the right time of year and get lucky with the weather.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days. Our deluxe room with balcony was really nice. One of the best. It's a lovely property and very relaxing. I would highly recommend it.

I didn’t stay… I came for dinner… the service was excellent… I mean top notch! Shrimp and grits for $36 is fine, BUT I would expect to dishes larger than my bowls at home, and more than 3 shrimp. I know it isn’t generous George’s but it also isn’t a tapas restaurant. Please do better!

We drove 50 miles each way to celebrate Mother's Day at this very special place. The setting on the Rappahannock River and the atmosphere of the dining room did make the occasion special. The fried oysters appetizer was just perfect though the jumbo prawns entree was just good. She crab soup and prime rib were also excellent. Very polite and friendly service was also a plus. Be prepared for some high end prices, the dining experience was worth it.
