Absolutely horrific experience. The "manager" Sarah, contacted me 1 week prior to get the details of the vehicle I'd like. My car was involved in a accident and the rental was covered. I stated a SUV or car. Get to Enterprise (45 minutes from my house) and all they have available is pickup trucks and vans. I question an SUV that is in the back and magically it's available. Never told there was an upcharge. Took a 100.00 deposit and stated we would be in contact within 30 days or when my car was finished. The car was filthy and had 1/8 tank of fuel. 9 days later, Sarah calls me demanding I bring the car back or pay 250.00. I tell her my car isn't done and end up calling the insurance company myself to get things fixed. Sarah also tells me to feel free to drive the rental 2 hours away and drop it off to another enterprise. Day of drop off, I drop my rental off to another enterprise (closer), after calling both locations and getting confirmation. 2 weeks later on two separate occasions I'm charged over 300.00 because of a refuel, and extended rental agreement. Made a complaint and still waiting to hear from someone 7 days later. Will never again go back to the location The whole staff is horrific and only looking for a payday.

Required an initial $400 down payment plus the rental and insurance fee. However, very nice and clean vehicles to rent.

Car was disgusting and not clean when I got it, they never told me the car they gave me was out of my insurance price range & never offered a different car, the guy was to concerned about trying to sell the car to me, so I have to come out of pocket. All together this Milford enterprise has been the worst one I’ve been too, all the other enterprises I’ve been to have been wonderful

Definitely not the experience I was expecting. Not that the people weren't pleasant, they were just not informative. I had spoken with a woman on the Friday of my accident and told her I wouldn't be able to pick up my rental until that coming Thursday morning. I wasn't sure of the time exactly, but it would be in the morning. She told me that was fine, just to call the day of to inform them when I was on my way. Luckily enough I called before I left. I informed them I'd be there by 10, which they responded by telling me they did not have a car for me because I was supposed to call back with a time I'd be there. After telling the guy that that was not what I was told, he told me he couldn't get a car there until 12-12:30. So much for being early to work that day. I was actually 30 minutes late because of this. Along with that, I wasn't told until I was picking up the car that there was a $50 deposit I had to put down. When I asked the girl helping me why I wasn't informed of this earlier, she told me "I don't know. It says here (in the computer system) you were told." I think I would have remembered being told I had to put down $50 for this. Then, once my car was fixed and I dropped the rental off I received the emailed receipt for $25.85. I had agreed to pay $2.35 for each gallon of gas up until 3/4 of a tank so I didn't have to put the gas in the car myself. The car was on 1/4 of a tank when I brought it back, meaning I should have only had to pay for 1/2 a tank. I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt the 2018 Nissan Rouge had a 22 gallon tank. I say this because I spent $15 on gas the day before I took it back and it took the car from E to 3/4 of a tank, with the gas costing more than the $2.35 I was supposed to be charged with Enterprise. I explained this to the guy at the counter and he told me he could "kick back $10". So I still ended up paying more than I should have, but at that point I just wanted to get out of there. I don't know if it is just the Milford, DE location, but I'll never use Enterprise again because of it.

Drivers license and a credit card. It is very hard to rent with cash. They will provide you with insurance if you pay extra --- or in certain situations your own car insurance will cover the rental car for BIG accidents. BUT --- if you have a fender bender --- the rental car company will charge you for the time their car is in the shop getting fixed!!! Unless you buy their insurance. I would call your own auto insurance company and get the facts from them first.
