Not what it was. We have bought many pieces of Thomasville furniture over the years, and it was always great quality. Their service was also always excellent. In fact, we liked a couch we had gotten so much, that 15 years later we bought another of the same model to replace it. Within a few months, the cushions collapsed. We called and they replaced them. They collapsed again. We called again, and were told that the couch was now out of warranty, but that they wouldn't honor the warranty anyway, because they are new owners. We paid a lot for the couch and expected it to be of the same quality as the first one. It was not. The service is not. I see no reason to shop at Thomasville again. And I certainly do not consider whatever they are now the same company that Thomasville once was.

The furniture looked nice, but to clarify I decided not to purchase anything from this store. My wife and I went in for a dry bar and a bedroom set. The person who was supposed to be helping us kept leaving and being dismissive as we asked questions. In the end we decided to not even bother looking at the bedroom sets and left, the customer service was lacking.

If I could give this business zero stars, I certainly would. We purchased almost $10K of Thomasville furniture over a year ago. Over half the furniture we received was damaged (dents in the furniture, noticeable surface scratches, inlays missing, joints already popping, etc.). It is now over a year later, and we still haven't received the correct furniture. I am completely fed up with Thomasville corporate and this store. We had months of delays because the manufacturing facilities couldn't get the correct pieces in, and when they did finally get them in they were damaged. We've also had the Farmingdale store order the incorrect colors/pieces, which resulted in further delays. Tracy (manager) and Nicole at the store have been largely unhelpful. We've bought Thomasville furniture exclusively our entire lives, but after this experience I will never purchase another Thomasville piece of furniture again. Part of the issue is corporate's fault (the move to manufacturing in Asia has resulted in very noticeable quality issues, and supply issues have resulted in months and months of delays). Part of the issue is the store's fault (because they are incapable of ordering the correct pieces and resolving issues in a timely manner when they occur). I would not spend the money to buy Thomasville furniture anymore. It is no longer a premium furniture brand.

My husband and I had talked about upgrading from a couch/love seat to a sectional for years. We didn't want any furniture that was cheap and very light like what we'd been able to afford years ago. We went to this location and the salesman was very helpful and really knew his furniture. We tried out and ultimately ordered a custom sectional sofa. There was a small problem where after we ordered the sofa our salesman called to notify us that the fabric we initially selected was discontinued, but he gave us a small discount for our troubles returning to the store to select new fabric. Our sofa arrived as promised 6-8 weeks later, with a phone call to confirm the delivery window. It arrived right on time, undamaged and as ordered. The delivery men were professional and courteous. They didn't ask us to sign the document that the furniture was received in good order until after it was fully installed and we inspected it. Overall a great experience and we would buy from them again.
