This place is so honest! We rented a car and when we dropped it off I found out that I lost my wallet with $200 inside! We came back a couple of days later and they gave to us back!

DEAR Joanna Wood & Andrew Mckiel, I have used entrprise multiple times in the past and everything went well. However this recent rental was covered by my insurance. Inatially the reservation was for saturday (put the date), as soon as i enter the buliding the assistant manaeatger Mathew immediately states we dont have any availability, i advise him i have a reservation, he states our cars are limited and i will put you in whatever i have. Therefore i provided him with my drivers license and matthew informs me he has a caddiliac for me.he has another employe process the rental. As i waited 45 minutes for them to provide the said car he informs me he cant rent that due to my age. It was not a problem, I just wanted the full size car i reserved. Matthew informs me he does not have a full size he can put me in a mini van, ofcourse immediately i advise him, i dont feel comfortable with a mini van, so matthew states in order to accomodate me, he will have his coworker dop me in central islip to pick up a car, I informed Matthew i do not full comfortable riding in the car with a stranger, i was very apprehensive and uncomfortablke about riding in a car with the coworker. Being that my car was reserved thru my insurance and should of been availble upon my arrival. Nevertheless I told matthew that i will reschedule for Monday.(include date). Before i arrive at enterprise I call to confirm my rental, I spoke with a person named Dennis who immediately tells me that he read the notes and i quote, " you was yelling and told my co worker you dont like his face and i refused 3 car rentals" At that moment i realize this situation has become a bias target attack against me, and very well insidious.I dont blame Dennis , he was adamant and he was just responding to the inaccurate notes he read. Therefore Dennis confirms there is a nissan sentra available for me to pick up when i arrive. This is when this situation gets questionable. Upon my arrival Matthew states i have a nissian rouge for you, it will be dropped off in ten minutes,again, i requsted a full size car, at this point i surrender and agreed to take the suv, despite the fact i reserved a full size car. Thirty minutes elapse, Mathew gets on the phone and gives the perfomance of a lifetime, he advise me , the shop has someone joy rididng in the car and it wont be avialibale. So i ask what is available, he state you can take the mini van, i decline, due to the fact i would not feel comfortable driving a minivan, I state i prefer a full size car, he offers me a malibu, but states the check engine light is on, and assures me the car is ok to rent with the check engine light on.I refuse the car, so he takes me in the back to show me a dirty toyota and advise me , I can take the car to the carwash to get it cleaned. I agree to take the car. Ofcourse i get video documentation of the vehicle. The millage was incorrect on the rental agrrement, thats not the worst part, the toyaota had igntion switch problems. Thefore i Immediatley call the 1800 a customer care #. They had the car towed away and assured me i can get a full size replacement in west islip. Ofcourse i called to confirm and was advised they have no cars available. So i called the 1800 customer care # and advised I dont want a replacement and i nolonger want the reservation, this was around 2pm. I was advised once the car is received, that the reservation will be cancelled. @8pm i get an email from enterprise stating that the car was returned at 11:59pm on 3/22/2022, that is when i realized this is covert. They want to bill my insurance for an additnal day. I should not be billed at all for a car that has mechanical issues, the key gets stuck in the ignation, it is inevitable that the key will break off in the ignitation, and enterprise will bill my insurance. That sound like fraud waste and abuse to me. To top it off Matthew attempted to upsell me insurance for the car, when I was fully covered.

I used this enterprise location due to needing a rental after a car accident. I have never, ever written a bad review before but I feel the need to warn someone who may want to use them. The shop I was working with set up the rental for me and I went to pay, exchange information to be able to take the rental. Everything seemed to be fine until I got home with the rental and went through the paperwork. WITHOUT being asked they added their coverage for insurance which was an additional $12/day. I called and they said there is nothing they can do over the phone and I had to come back in to fix. I drove in rush hour over 30 minutes that same day to get this figured out, and patiently waited in a very long line. They had to reinspect the car and told me it is all taken care of and that I would just be responsible for that day of added coverage (which is my opinion is ridiculous since I did not ASK for or AGREE to this in the first place). Fast forward 5 weeks and returning the rental. They now claim I never took off the coverage. And refused to check the cameras or even work with me to get this figured out. I had a bill for over $700 because of their NEGLIGENCE, laziness and pure horrible customer service. They made it seem like they were the heroes when they gave me a partial refund even when it was THEIR mistake. Beware and stay away- I will never be using this location, or company again.

Very professional, courteous vibe. I was turned away from hertz for not having had a credit card, and was super happy that enterprise was able to accommodate me for my vehicle needs. They even upgraded me for free! Definitely recommend using Enterprise!
