We stopped in for take out. The service was great, and the employees were very friendly. The burgers were excellent. And I'd definitely come back for more. The practice all of the required Covid precautions.

Very disappointed in Five Guys in Torrington. Ordered online because we needed to grab some quick food; order said it'd be ready in 8 minutes (at 6:43). Arrived at the store at 6:45 and waited til 7:07 for our order. So much for ordering online so it's ready upon arrival! And they forgot some of the extras on our burgers! Wish I could take back my tip because tips are for good service. Very, very frustrating!

Outrageously expensive and food was terrible. I felt like I was robbed at the cash register and that was before I knew how bad it would be. The hot dog was inedible, not sure what kind of meat it was, but it was overcooked and the bacon was burnt to a crisp. Fries were so so, not awful but nothing special. The cheese burger was better than McDonald's and roughly equal to Wendy's. The shakes were actually good. We threw out the food, kept the shakes and ate somewhere else. The bottom line is I would not recommend this place for anything other than a milkshake.
