The most impressive portion of The Wild Center is definitely Stickworks art installation, followed by the Wild Walk raised walking path through the property. The animal exhibits are currently being improved and most of the experience is catered toward children - which is wonderful to families, but left us feeling that the $22/person price tag was steep for adults without children to entertain.

If you are naturalists or like the outdoors, great place to visit. A lot of hands-on stuff for kids and adults. Great training place on our environment.

The Wild Center was a disappointment. The entry fees is $20 and there is nothing much to see for that price. It may be good if you go with a family or kids. If you are running short of time, avoid this.

I have wanted to go here for years and it did not disappoint! There are very informative indoor exhibits that are hands on and very interesting to look at and learn about. There are also some hiking trails with lovely views of the river and also an outdoor playground made of only natural things like hollowed out trees. The thing I was most excited about though was the Wild Walk. It is a lot of fun! The spider web is fun to play on, even for adults. Going up to the eagle's nest gives you awesome views of the area. Down below it tells you which mountains you are looking at from all sides. There is also a giant hollowed out tree to go through and several walkways and bridges. We all had a great time and I would highly recommend it!

Easily. One advantage is the option of indoor as well as outdoor activities that give you options depending on the weather. The Wild Walk is an elevated catwalk and suspension walkways in the treetops. Many natural history exhibits indoors introduce you to the wildlife and flora of the Adirondacks. Don't miss the theatre.
