I have always had a good shopping experience at this location. Friendly staff and that includes the cashiers as well. I always require assistance because the product brands and various quality items within the brands are vast. I have put my trust in the department clerks and have never been mislead. I always do hours of product research before going to the store and you know what, the staff has always been helpful. I don’t discuss anything except my needs and I have let the knowledgeable staff lead the way. I do really appreciate the opportunity to shop here. Great Work and hard working workers enhance the shopping experience.

The home depot used to be one of the top stores in the world. But since the pandemic, excuses are used all the time to not deliver on time. I have had it happen many times that I have workers ready to finish a job in my property, only to have delivery delayed 2 or 3 days after paying for next day delivery. None of these times have they refunded the fast delivery. It seems that US companies are making record profits at the cost of their employees and customers Updated 7/16/22 I would like to add to this review rather than delete it because this did happen. However , once I was able to talk to Greg, the incredibly helpful manager of customer service in Silverdale, he fixed everything right away even though it wasn’t easy. All my deliveries are like clockwork now. I hope the Home Depot values employees like Greg, who went the extra mile to solve an important issue for customers at a difficult time such as now. The Gig Harbor store has been amazing as well. I went from looking for alternatives to shopping again at my favorite store. I am changing this review from one star to five.

I had a patio door delivered damaged and getting the managers to call back was impossible. I spoke with a few different managers and a few different employees and was always supposed to get a call back and never got one! This is how they treat their customers. It was not my fault my door was damaged, I paid good money for it. This place is awful and my issue still isn't fixed. Hire competent people!!!!!!!

Alex (flooring) was so helpful. He was able to cut our blinds, give us the perfect solution for our sliding glass door shade, all while being friendly & personable. Great employee!

You're the customer keep going up there and complaining and ask for higher up and if they can't get you that until you tell them they're calling corporate I've had to deal with their s*** to when I bought a a dryer they would ignore me say they didn't get the call so I called corporate hope I answered your question
If you need any quantity over a few bags, IMO opinion there are better alternatives nearby. Any gardener in the phone book could provide a contact name.
If they have it, check the website.
At Gig Harbor you dial the store number and ask for "truck rental" and you are transfered. You can adk if there is a direct number.
