Super nice attendants and great views of the lake.

I loved it! It's a beautiful place the only thi g I didn't like was the camp sites are very close together and there was a little while where the bathroom was completely out of toilet paper. Also the beach wasn't a beach we had to go elsewhere to swim.

Actually a very cute place to camp near the lake. They have a disc golf course, playgrounds for the kiddos at the camp ground and at the beach. We were tent camping and our booked site was flooded prior to our arrival from past rain and they allowed us to choose a different site which was very nice. We took the canoe out from the beach which was great and our son had a blast with the other kids on the playground as well.

I just love the raw beauty of the setting on this lake. Its great for walking the shoreline, and sunsets are drop dead gorgeous! I've heard good reviews for the camping facilities. Some investment in the facilities could yield a return I believe...the state needs to make it more of a priority!

There are no sites directly on the water as the Lake Erie State Park campground exists on bluffs high above the water. There are a handful of sites along the bluff, however, the brush on the edge is not cut back in order to help provide bluff stability and reduce erosion. There are several places where beautiful views can be had though.
The Lake Erie State Park cabins are a one-room cabin with a small porch. The cabin has a table and benches, a small kitchenette with refrigerator and small stove. There are 2 built-in bunk beds (4-twin size beds total). Restrooms and showers are in a shared facility building.
Yes. Lake Erie State Park does have a coin operated laundry. It is located at the shower/restroom facility nearest the cabins.
For 2020, the Vehicle Use Fee ($6) is collected 9 am to 5 pm from 5/18/20 thru 9/6/20. All other times, the fee is not collected.
Sorry not sure I would call the park office
The cabins do not include any cookware. Included are a refrigerator, a small stove and a microwave (new for this 2020 season!), 4 bunks with mattresses, a table with benches and chairs that convert to ladders for safe upper bunk access. ALL other items need to be brought with you - cookware, utensils, dishes, linens, dishsoap, etc. Unfortunately, the campground does not have a camp store for anything you may have forgotten, but the village of Brocton is nearby with a couple of small store options if needed.
Yes , RV. Tents ,campers with about 12 cabins. Closed for season . Open for snow shoeing and cross country skiing
if it is an RV site usually just one, but I believe you can have two on a tent site.
Yes and early morning is one of the calmest times I've ever experienced out there... Mist hanging, water calm and Little Rocks just waiting to be picked up! ☺️
