Now that I emailed crossroads and a staff membered emailed me back and has answered my concerns and forwarded info to staff to process idk what or why but to me it seems that whatever was causing confusion or clients feeling confused and unsure how to go forward and in limbo waiting to hear back I am glad I tried to contact the program since this time I am very satisfied with the results and the timely manor to respond to our concerns At this point I really don't think they deserve even a 1 out 5 rating I am a landlord and 2 of my residence have had no income due to COVID one of them applied in oct the other one a few months later I am a kind person but also not able to financially support them I haven't evicted in hopes I will hear from them offering help but e- mails and calls from the renters and myself get no call backs or emails absolutely nothing so much time has gone by I feel bad for their clients if they are being treated like my renters and myself no communication and don't want to be a pain by constantly asking questions

Everybody in this county says Crossroads is the best place to get help for rental assistance and iv been wait almost 4 months and when I finally get someone working on it she takes her sweet time doing the paperwork makes me wait even longer till I'm jeperdy of losing everything , had to sit in the dark for two days because they wouldn't help with power assistance so me and my wife got to freeze for 2 days.. after I get what's supposed to be coming to me I'll never ever ever recommend crossroads for anybody ever again..

what can I say about these people other than they're extremely caring and amazing and go out of their way to help the families that they allow into their shelter kudos to them for all that they do for the families that come there

Other than a lack of sufficient income, I don't know why you would be banned. If there is evidence of history of property damage or domestic violence or criminal activity, that could be a problem. But I don't know if a potential landlord would have access to any information like that, or if it's legal to use it for a reason not to rent. I can imagine it's even more difficult with prices going up at present. Income always seems to be a factor, in my experience.
Actually, Bread and Roses has just changed their name and have moved as well. They are called Rosie's Place and are still in downtown Olympia
Your best bet is to come in to the office during business hours 1pm-4pm
