I recently had the chance to interact with the Administrator, Vivian. The focus was how she and her team could provide their patients an even better experience in terms of their ability to get to doctors appointments, activities outside the facility, and other important appointments through enhanced transportation . Vivian and her staff clearly have an intimate knowledge of their patients needs and pushed hard to ensure they have what they need in order to provide an outstanding patient experience. They did not hesitate in investing in technologies that would make their patients as comfortable and safe as possible . I was pleasantly surprised to see a facility that doesn’t put the mighty dollar ahead of the overall patient experience. I can tell Vivian deeply loves the patients that live and rehabilitate here . I can also see that she stands up for her staff and leads them through love, encouragement, and accountability . I have managed many different businesses and know how important and impactful the right leader can have on any customer experience. Based on my interaction with Vivian, I confidently recommend this facility to family, friends, and anyone else looking for outstanding long term care or short term rehabilitation. I’m sure they will treat you as well as they treated me.

I have seen a complete transformation of this facility over the last year. The management team is stronger than ever and the Residents are truly happy. This years Annual Survey was the best the facility has had in years and demonstrates the dedication and hard work the fabulous employees strive for every day. It really feels good to walk the halls and visit with both employees and the residents/families.

I started working at Olympia Transinational 11/05/2018. Olympia Transinational is my 4th faculty since I moved to Washington almost 2 years ago. The first one was horrible I quit after just 2 months because the residents suffered. Than I found what I thought was going to be my new home until I retired which is about 10years out. Lol. Boy was I wrong they closed their doors on my 1 year anniversary. So I found another Job as an RCM at a facility in Lakewood. Well that place was just not a good fit for me. I was driving to work one morning and received a call from my DNS that I had worked with at the building that closed their doors. She told me that she had just taken a job as the New DNS at Olympia Transinational and wanted to know if I would come be her RCM. I didn't hesitate I said yes. And a month later i was hired. I know have been there just a little over a month and i absolutely love it and feel i have finally found my home again. We have a few hurdles to get over, But with the Olympia Transinational team , we will make it over these hurdles. All the employees are wonderful to work with, and you can feel when you walk in the building they are happy to be there. I am so blessed to be part of the Olympia Transinational TEAM. If you are thinking about a new job. Come see us you wont regret it..I Don't!!

I am in complete shock the lack of organization, communication and medical professionalism at this facility. My mother was transferred to their care six days ago. The last 3 days I have talked to Dr. Kohn, the charge nurse, an administrator and now the nursing director to get my mothers treatment plan started. They doctor reduced her pain medication for three different reasons, would verbally tell me he would increase her medication, than not place the order in a timely manner. The therapy team did not know what my mothers injury was, nor did they know what the orthopedic from the hospital ordered. The staff did not know what my mothers injury was, how she has many other medical problems, who the orthopedic was, when she was to follow up or where she is to go for the appointment. I should not have to go through this much difficulty for proper care, pain management, and an appropriate treatment plan to get her back home. The nursing staff has been helpful the their fullest ability. Disorganized, in need of better directions, definitely more staff and more training. The facility is only as good as their providers and Dr. Kohn is by far the worst provider I have ever dealt with. I can understand that he “forgot”, the first time with my mothers medication change but the second and third time is negligence! His response upon why he did not want her on a higher dose of medication changed all three times! I would give this facility a 0 star, do not leave your loved ones in their hands! They should not have needed me to get this upset and request they call her doctors, talk to the director of nursing about medication or what her treatment plan is supposed to be. That is why I trusted my mother to get care from them, for this facility and their staff to have all this information for her care, when they accept her as a resident!
