Literally anything that comes through the post office is never delivered to my door like they say on Amazon. It's a 3 day hassle just to pick my stuff up from them and I've had packages squished and ruined from the courrier delivering it to my apartment's mailboxes.

Saint Helens has some of the worst mail delivery I have ever seen. I have had two addresses in town. First place, the constantly misdelivered my neighbors mail to me. After three calls and trips to the post office to return the misdelivered mail I was forced to put my address on the box that was also clearly visible on the house, problem was not completely resolved. Second address, maybe even worse. They were delivering mail, but quite often my neighbors got my mail instead. Called and was told my address "didn't exist" in their system. They "fixed" the problem by mistakenly changing my address to the neighbors so they now get some of my junk mail. I still get some mail, but who knows what I have missed. Not sure how or why they are so bad, but on a scale of 1 to 10 for mail delivery I would give them a sold 1 maybe a 2 at best. People are friendly in the office, but over a year of screw-ups is not acceptable for mail. If you have any options for an address out of town I would recommend it for critical items. If you have a mailbox it may also help to get a post office box, but I am still suspect if that would completely resolve issues and it seems ludicrous to have to get a PO box when there is a mailbox out front, but here we are.

I totally understand your frustrations. I used to be a carrier for USPS in multiple offices including St.Helens office and the way the P.O. operates is shove the mail in the boxes if u miss and put mail into the wrong box They will just fix it 2maro. It's not easy to sort hundreds of thousands of mail and get it delivered as fast as they want all in one day. USPS pushes you so hard u have to run and drive fast or you will lose your job. I didn't agree with how fast they want u to go. I told them that is how mistakes are made. They told me they didn't care. I lost my job There bcuz of it. Sorry you would have to call someone in the main Post Office back east. Of u just call the Post Master in St.Helens nothing will get done except another innocent employee fired. USPS.COM E-Mail them or call the 1- 800 #.. Sorry it's time we get to the root of the problem. Thank you.

Sheila Macy all you need to do is call or go online and request a hold to be put on your mail
Buy the box and install on ur house with address and remove the old one simple as that
