I'm actually shocked by some of the comments below because I researched apartments from Tumwater to Burien to Kent for about three weeks and there were three apartment communities that stood out amongst the rest. Arbor Pointe was one of those three. After talking with Mai by email and text messaging, they quickly became #1. Yeah I get that maybe they don't have marble counter tops and it is a large diverse community of military, students, families, etc. but for the kindness and helpful response from staff so far, I am incredibly impressed. We are leaving a place that in four years the landlord came in twice. Once to replace the toilet with a used one from his mother's house and bought her the new one. And the other time, to help unclog the bathtub which has been broken now for 6 months. We have one operating sink in the bathroom. So yeah maybe this will seem like paradise for us but again, Mai and the property management team helped us big time and now we can live somewhere the bathtub works! Thanks Arbor Pointe for everything - we are so so so grateful for your kindness and willingness to work with us! Looking forward to moving in!!

Brittney Richard the manager will not give a final notice, you end up in collections as your final notice. Keep over 10 copies of your renters insurance and please please PLEASE, make sure they do not look like military orders, those end up in the trash and the $50 no insurance fee is added to your account, also without any notification this is going to happen. If you need a respectfully interaction, go else where. Twice I was waiting for the office to open so I could get a couple packages, they pull up and see you waiting and then leave the property so they don’t have to interact with anyone, then maintenance will show up to change the open time sign. Also maintenance entered my unit with a key while I was home, and NEVER received any notice. The guy simply had the wrong unit, but why did he have my key? I sure like to know too. If your reading this review and they are under new management, I’d give them a shot if you really need a place to stay, otherwise look elsewere. Also be sure to ask about Building G’s outside safety lights. They would not fix them because they need its an unprotected wire in the ground they don’t want to spend the money to fix.

If your military don’t live here! Every bad review I have read is true. The photos are externally misleading or they only took photos of the more updated apartments. My carpet smells like it’s from the 70s. The old carpet smell won’t go away. I strongly suggest not getting an apartment unless it has new carpet. I am also pretty sure I have mold under my carpet. Parking is horrible I pay for a spot that’s 4 building down from mine, but I need it for when I don’t have a open spot close to my apartment. The office and maintenance staff have been super nice to my family though. That’s really the only good thing about it.

I lived at the Arbor Pointe Apartments for about a year, roughly a year ago. This apartment community is not a 5 star community, but it also doesn't carry a 5 star price tag. The two bedrooms are really big (mine was 1000 sqft), and were appointed fairly well. My unit had brand new carpet when I moved in. The appliances were older, but worked. The counters were older, but they held my kitchen items and let me prepare my food... so no complaints because they weren't marble or anything. Yes, it is a large community. Dog owners don't clean up after themselves, kids run and play around. However, it isn't management that allows this to happen. You can thank your fellow residents for not being able to keep themselves accountable. My washer broke, and within 2 days I had a brand new one installed. I only placed one other work order and it was dealt with in a timely manner. Maintenance was never rude towards me. I didn't have to interact with the office staff often, because I kept my apartment up and didn't cause issues or decide to just not pay. All in all, I liked living at Arbor Pointe well enough. Close to schools, churches, bus lines and stores. Price point is average for the area and amenities too. Pool was great, they did in fact have a functioning workout room when I was there, and I didn't have issues getting my packages when they were taken to the office, which was always. I also didn't see any huge move out bill, they only charged me for what was actually broken (blinds and paint). I paid my sum and haven't had any issues or contact since. If I had to go back into Lakewood I would consider Arbor Pointe again.

Hi Marvae. Our emergency maintenance phone number is (253) 468-5788. Thanks!
You pay PSE + rent / wsg etc. Paying rent online also has about a 30+$ charge.
