This state park hosts an easy to moderate trail that has been seriously upgraded and is very well maintained. Be aware, there are a TON of stairs on the main trail, but there is a road that can be walked as well. The trail is wooded and summit views are nice, but there's a lot of foot traffic, especially on weekends, so if you like solitude this may not be the trail for you. It's easy enough for a great family hike, and it well loved by dog lovers (MOST are good about following the leash regulations).

Great views. Recommend the devil's chair trail for extra mile walk with shade and rock features

Absolutely amazing view, very peaceful and plenty of active wild life. Very clean and the best trails, options for your level of intensity.

Great spot for sightseeing, picnicking etc., although a bit small. We went on a very hot, humid August day and it was not very crowded, but during autumn, it's probably packed. There are beautiful vistas of southern lake Champlain at the charming park at the summit, which is surrounded by dense hardwood forest, that are no doubt magnificent during fall colors season. There are only a few picnic tables and grills, so get there early!

If its open you should be able to. Theres a road that leads to the top, and a pavilion area at the summit for lounging. Not much walking unless you want to get to the edge.
No
There is a road to the top you can walk but there is also a walking path that maybe though with a stroller.
I think so. The place will remain open till October middle.
I understand that the roads inside may be closed for possible start of snowfall but one can visit on foot.
