Firstly, they gave me a dirty vehicle. The car smelled like someone had just been delivering food in it with a mix of some unpleasant odor. Since this was the only place available with a car the day I needed, I rented through Geico at the insurance rate from this Hertz location. I had the car for about a month and each week would call the branch and my agent to extend my rental at the rate that Geico provides. I did this each week. On Easter I see a voicemail from a phone call from Hertz (on Easter) the same day saying that I need to return the car because it is on REPO status. I let them know I prolonged my rental through Geico and through their office through Voicemail as no one answered my call on Easter. My Geico agent let me know the reason my car went to repo was because my card was not charged. when over the phone I asked them to charge my card they said they are not authorized to do so. I offered to provide them with my card number over the phone to pay and they would not take it. When I arrived to the dealership, they tried to charge me the total amount without telling me any fees were charged. I asked to see an itemized amount and they showed me a screen with the total (not itemized, it was just total and tax breakdown). Finally when they did there was a $108.25 towing fee (my car was not towed as I returned it). I tried to offer them proof of my phone calls to them at least once a week to extend the rental and my Geico agent also advised them that she updated her end of the system with current information regarding when I would be returning my rental. When I was there I informed them I do not authorize my card to be charged for any towing or repossession fees. The branch manager told his employee to swipe the card regardless without my authorization. This is against the law as I did not authorize the credit card to be ran. When I demanded a refund and for the corporate office to reach out to me I was told If I do not leave the police would be called. I called my Uber to go to Enterprise Towson, and the police pulled up. I explained to the officer what happened and a female employee with glasses ran outside trying to egg on the situation screaming "make sure you get my Instagram I want to be famous" as the officer is telling her to go along her day and for me to go to the Uber waiting for me. The word professionalism does not exist at this location. Neither does customer service as regardless of what evidence you have to prove that they messed up on their end, they will think they are right and charge you what they want. Finally, when I returned home and contacted my bank about this unauthorized charge, my bank informed me that Hertz ran my card for $687.00 when the itemized receipt came up to $636.29 after the towing/repo charge and 11.5% tax. From what it appears, I am not the first victim of Hertz Parkville shady business tactics and unless Hertz Corporate or the Better Business Bureau does something, this unethical business will continue to pray on the community. This business does not try to resolve issues, they will tell you your wrong, call the police on you, hang up on you, and swindle you!

Hertz... 1. did not have a single vehicle ready to rent at our appointment time despite us having paid for it in full, asking us to wait hours before a vehicle would be ready. 2. Refused to let us cancel on site, forced us to call a corporate line who lied to us and told us it was cancelled. 3. Would never refund our payment amount. We had to eventually dispute the charge. 4. Still sending us bills 8 months after the face, despite the situation being "escalated" every time we call. For your sanity please don't make the mistake of EVER renting from this company but especially relying on them to have a vehicle at an appointment time. The service is so bad it almost seems criminal.

The insurance cost much more than the car itself. Staff wasn't exactly friendly or helpful. Lot was cramped difficult to maneuver around. Would have been great if I had been given a car that works properly and I could have had it for the full time in my rental instead of having to take it back after a day

WARNING!!! Please DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Against, my better judgment, after calling for two days, being left on hold for 5 minutes twice, and a manager never returning my call concerning the rental. I rented the car for about a week and upon returning the rental was charged $300 for cleaning due to smoke because the associate said there was ash in the door jams of the car after the windows were rolled down. The Area manager Mr. Collins excuse was all claims are left to the discretion of the branch manager who was not there at the time of the rental. Total SCAM!!!
