In the past, when I had called and left a verbal message for the director I never received a call back and that was a bit surprising. This has happened in the past and really should be looked into. If any human beings call and leave a message for what ever reason, someone should have the decency to return the phone call. The way some DSHS programs are operated are questionable. A week ago I was trying to address a concern to a lady in a department. I looked at her badge & it said "Melissa, Program Director. For being a "Director"she was very rude, curt and brushed me off. She didn't have the decency to even greet me or walk me to her office to have a private conversation. Instead she addressed me in front of somebody's desk as we stood there conversing. I thought that was unprofessional and tacky on her part. She might need a bit more coaching and training regardless if she's a "director" of some sort. I sure miss other's that have moved on or retired.

It doesn't
If you google low income limits it will tell you
I'm not quite sure. I know they help with past due bills and rent and even pay in advance but I've never heard of them paying a bill for something someone paid to fix. That would be something you would give to the landlord. Take the receipt and they should take it off your rent. That is if you rent.
Well it's not cap per-say but there is a program inside the CAP office called love and overwhelming aka the (HEN) program.. so what you need to do is get ahold of dshs and they refer you to them and there ya go, they can or should be able to help out with 1500 for rent right away . Also when you call dshs stay in line and apply for ( disaster relief program ?) And the very next day you should get $360.00 bucks on your food stamp card to help you and family out in this need of despair. ... You welcome 👊 hope it works out for you good luck.
Good question but I don't know sorry
First and foremost, I don't understand why "CAP" would have to inspect your motorhome to begin with? Didn't know they did such and with what purpose?.... unless this has to do with them having to assist with rent.🤔
Yes they can
A program called "Laundry Love" offers free use of the laundramat at the corner of 20th Ave and Beech St. This is from 6-8 pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Free soap too. Address is 417 20th in Longview. Come early. Space may be limited.
Love overwhelming inside of CAP
You have to go in.
Every year, you have to apply online (the "411" is on the website) Assist the group meeting @ CAP before you obtain assistance.
