It's your typical Dollar General. They have a good selection of your basic items that you need when you open the cupboard and are out of a product. The staff is very friendly in helping you to find something you can't find. A great store to shop in when you need to pick something up

They just had a small fire caused by a 7 y/o but it ended up cleaner than before so far. Not much is stocked from what they had to throw away cuz the fire powder destroyed it so they have to wait for those trucks to come in. No milk as of Sunday still.

Dirtiest store I have been to. I'm from Los Angeles and it's never been like that there in the dollar store. Stuff thrown everywhere and blocking aisles. Floors filthy dirty. Shelves unorganize mess. It was very messy that a lady who doesn't even work there started picking up stuff and putting them where they belong. Feel sorry for the workers because they did not cause it, the people of Jersey Shore must love throwing things in random shelves and forcing the workers to clean up after themselves.

In the small historic town of Jersey Shore there only needs to be a few places of convenience. Dollar General is a very well established chain of stores that offer household items at a reasonable price. This location offers off street parking dedicated to the retail store. The parking is tight and designed for one direction driving, so when leaving exit behind building. The staff has staple employees that are very helpful. In a personal experience they called the second close location to see if a sale item (Diapers) were in stock. If it is greeting cards you're after or basic automotive and tools they have it, almost always in stock. I went with four stars due to parking complexity and (not stores fault but is part of environment) despite constant employee effort to keep store tidy customers unorganized fashion leads to less ease of movement during shopping experience. Note: as many franchised stores do not permit photography of in store layouts I did respect these wishes and there are no photos. Despite being one star shy from perfect, I would recommend this to any native or persons passing by on highway 220.
