There was a manager or wanna be manager at store on Kirkwood hwy near BJ’s. He is black bold head with little height and named funny too. He is a character and think he own dollar general and acts like as*hole like someone step on his tail.

used to go there when i was a kid and it was very tidy, and clean. nowadays some stuff is misplaced but i still love this place.

I don't usually go to Dollar General. I was put off because they were always a mess! But I visited this store for a very specific item I knew they carried and was happily surprised with how well maintained this specific DG was. I actually WANTED to brows! Leading ne to purchase just about$20 worth of things I did not need. That's what well maintained stores are supposed to do. My only gripe and the reason I didn't rate 5 stars is I feel their clothing prices are too high for a store that puts "Dollar" in their name. They had cute things but at Walmart (and other big store name sale prices)So why buy there?

Great for a quick item or 2. Store aisles are usually blocked w racks of product needing to be put away. Staff has always been polite and friendly which keeps me coming back!
