After a long road trip, we were hoping to swim in the pool they show on their website and relax, but they failed to let us know the pool is closed even once we arrived. Super disappointing. The floors in the room were disgusting. Only positive experience there was Lloyd at the front desk who was very helpful and sweet (:

This was our 2nd time this year traveling through the area & staying here. Again we, with our family pet, had a great, quiet nights rest. Penny & Lloyd are definitely an asset to your establishment. Both were very courteous & accommodating. Definitely will be back!

Lady that checked us in could use a little customer service training. I tried to give feedback and instead to just saying she'll pass it on, she clearly said they have no control over the misinformation on their website. The elderly man checking out in the morning was very friendly and empathetic - an example of how to handle a not so great situation that the night lady could learn a lot from. Unfortunately this hotel leaves much to be desired. The room (104) stunk like a dank and musty basement. While linens were clean, it's clearly run down and in need of maintenance. Mattresses were all hard and you can feel the springs. I normally sleep until 8, but was up at 6 because it was uncomfortable and the lobby was more relaxing than the room. We didn't have to hit the road until closer to lunch time, but decided 9 am was preferable to lounging. None if us are morning people so lounging is what we do. I understand sofa beds are generally not ideal, however, this one should not be sold as a viable sleeping location even for kids. The center was visibly sagging. It was not used and the floor was a better option. Pool was permanently closed sine July 2019. Workout and business rooms also closed. The only reason we stayed was because all other hotels were booked up. Will not return.

This hotel was clean and our room was clean. We checked in between 8-10 p.m. and the on-duty desk clerk was just "OK," as she wasn't very welcoming. Rather, had more of an attitude of "I'm just here putting in my time on my shift." She was wearing a mask, which is her choice. However, if one chooses to do so, it should be worn properly by covering both the mouth and nose. She wore her mask only over her mouth, which negates its purpose; then, simply don't wear a mask. The location and the phone reservation representative stated that a "Free Hot Breakfast" was served. Upon check-in, we were told it was a "Continental Breakfast". When I stated the above-mentioned information that I had read and was told, she said, " We aren't serving anything hot right now." IMHO, the website, as well as the Quality Inn Reservation Line, should have that information updated. The "Continental Breakfast" (served from 6-10 AM) was very disappointing. We went to eat around 7:30 AM, and it only offered coffee, pre-packaged muffins, cereal and yogurt. Though a toaster was present, there was not any bread or English Muffins presented. These are usual staples that most hotels offer as breakfast options to choose from. Needless to say, we did not eat there. Our "free breakfast" was for naught. As Choice Hotels Members, this hotel served our purpose to take a break and get rest while 'on the road' but left much to be desired!
