Smiles for life is what you get here. My best decision ever to choose this facility for my dental care. I was impressed by the level of customer service and the trust that I got with the staff during my surgery session. Above and beyond my expectation, I totally recommend this dentistry to anyone that is skeptic of dental care, weather it is routine or surgical. The dentist and the entire staff have great knowledge, understanding, and a care plan for everyone. They have quick and easy way to schedule an appointment according to your schedule, care and treatments are affordable, and best of all-the healing process is a breeze. If there was a rating for more than five stars, I would give it a 10/10. Thank you for my smile!

If I could give 10 stars I would! I live in eastern WA but have been in Renton working. I had a dental emergency and Hu Smile got me in right away, and even stayed late to help me. I can’t explain how thankful I am for the Dr. and his amazing staff. They were so kind, helpful and had very reasonable prices. They also worked with my crazy schedule and got me back in for my crown in no time at all. If I lived in this area I would definitely use Hu Smiles for all my dental needs. Thank you so much again!

I came to Hu Smiles (formerly SDK Dental Care) in 2015. I went for a checkup on my teeth. He pushed me into a root canal. The day he performed the root canal I walked out of the office without a temporary crown or anything to protect the tooth. I was young and dumb. The first hard thing I bit down on cracked my tooth and I had shooting pain. I came back to SDK and he pushed me into doing an extraction for the tooth he cracked along with a bone graft and implant. He performed the surgery with some random other doctor watching the whole thing and they were arguing with eachother the whole time as he ground and pulled my tooth. In the end he told me he couldn’t place the implant and had to wait for things to heal. 6 months after the extraction my other teeth started to shift since there was nothing holding them in place, he didn’t provide temporary flapper or anything to hold my healthy teeth in place. After I questioned him on how he’d fix my new gap he offered to do the implant and epoxy the space between the teeth! I told him no this would require orthodontia not epoxy! I got fed up at this point and decided there was no way I’d want this dude drilling implants into my jawbone. I asked for a refund of my money. He subtracted a bunch of fees out of it and gave me about 60 percent of my money back. Stay away from this place folks!

My lower jaw was swollen and aching for 3 days. Worst at night. I called HuSmile, not expecting to schedule an appointment the same day! Saturday! I walked in the office, friendly staff greeted me with utmost professionalism, did an x-ray, found the problem, wisdom tooth causing infection, the Doctor, recognized my pain, and get it taken care of right away! Highly recommended. Thank you Dr.

On average, getting a dental implant takes three to nine months. Is a root canal painful?

Hu Smiles in Renton | Jan 17, 2022

No! A root canal procedure shouldn't hurt when done by a trained professional with modern technology and tools. In fact, the pain associated with a root canal actually stems from the pain caused by the infection inside your tooth before getting treatment. Do I need a root canal?

Hu Smiles in Renton | Jan 17, 2022

A root canal is necessary when the inside of your tooth becomes infected or damaged. If left untreated, the infection will spread, increasing your risk for additional dental problems, painful symptoms, and overall health issues. Signs you need a root canal include severe tooth pain or sensitivity, discoloration, swelling or tenderness of the nearby gums, and bumps on your gums. You may also experience no symptoms at all.
