I love Popeye's, but this particular location wasn't great. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, but our entire order was messed up. It was late and we were tired, so we ate and left. I saw others at the counter with the same issue.

First time I was there, the chicken was wonderful. This time not so good, pieces were very small for the price I paid, not worth it. It will be a while before I go back.

I was traveling through town on my way to work in Evansville and wanted to stop to grab some food for when I got there and it was the best decision I had ever made! Popeyes in Newburgh has the best staff, drive thru crew AND management! They do all they can do and more! They helped me out and made my combo into a platter since I wanted to sides and let me know that I’d save money this way! The girl in the window and her manager were beyond polite, she repeated my order back to me at the speaker to insure it was correct and when I got to the window they even had my food ready for me! It was hot and fresh and tasted so delicious! I’ll keep coming back to order the 5 piece chicken tender meal! Especially with the Mac and cheese!

I would like to say the service is horrible. Also the business closes at 10pm. The employees aren’t getting out of there at times after midnight. When it’s slow at a certain the employees should be breaking down the list of duties preparing to close. Most companies want to save on labor cost. Breaking down the duties after closing is unacceptable. So when you’re getting bad service, you can’t get good service when it’s not ran properly. They have no good leadership. The leader is in the position because of who she knows. It’s understaffed because of the leadership. You can’t keep good staff when the problem starts with the leader.
