I live right down the road from this DG it use to be my favorite untill today . I returned a couple items without my receipts. All three of these items were art supplies I've bought all separately and different days . They remained in my office supplies unopen , and with this inflation on food prices rising I've come to a point where these items were less necessarily then needing food so I returned these items , offered to give all my information ID , phone number address and all even offered the manager the debit card number to look up all these transactions. I got a gift card used most of it on food and came back later that day to purchase a bottle of soda and was pulled to the side by an employee and told that I was being suspected in stealing these items . Most of the time I'm not even offered my receipts by them . They need a way to look up transactions with card number they were purchased with.

The store wasn't in order. Clusters of boxes everywhere and floors needed to be swept badly. The employees that were there at the time were polite and professional, just seemed a bit overwhelmed with all they had to do with the amount of traffic in and out of the store.

Friendly considerate employees (but need to have more because store was soo, trashy, displays knocked over and the aisle with picture frames had BROKEN GLASS everywhere. This store was the worst dollar general I have ever been in and I felt sympathy for the employees. Variety wasn't good either but of course I still spent just shy of $100.00. I deserve a gift card for telling it like it is!

Inconvenient. Lady at check out counter refused to take a $100 bill. No explanation, just I can't take that. No signs or posters up stating so. Is this your standard store policy? I know this is policy for several fast food chains and it is posted so. This should be posted at Dollar General also. One star only because there was nothing less.
