Drove 2 hours to get here because another location told me frisco had express services without an appt. Covid is over get some more helpers and get rid of this appointment junk. People have lives and need exceptions for obtaining government documents especially when an emergency situation happens. You should not have to wait more than 2 weeks to obtain a paper government ID. What are they doing with our tax money .Ridiculous . Only 3 customers in the building and I can’t get help. Poor management.

Limited availability, rude and unaccommodating. I have been trying to make an appointment online for a new Colorado license since moving from out of state but there is nothing available until next month, by which time I will working during DMV hours. I stopped in today hoping to do a walk in (willing to wait however long since I didn’t have an appointment). I showed up with all my documents and was met with an empty waiting room. There were two employees and I was asked if I had an appointment. I explained my situation and was told that I needed an appointment to be seen. Not once was I even asked what service I needed, they were so focused on having an appointment. I was shocked and annoyed that they wouldn’t help me given there was no one else waiting. The solution was “you can drive to Denver”. I ended up making the 1+ drive to Golden, had everything processed and was out the door in less than 10mins. I could not believe the lack of availability in Frisco and inability to accommodate, especially when no one else was there being helped or waiting at all. What’s the point of having these services in Summit County if we are told to drive to Denver anyways?

I prefer this DMV to the ones closer to home. It was easy to schedule an appointment online and I appreciate the COVID precautions that kept us from spending time in a crowded waiting room.
