My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the sloth experience with Terri and Luna! It was an amazing day. The love they have for each other is just incredible, as witnessed first hand. Terri is so good at what she does. We felt extra special to get to learn about Luna up close and personal. We had no idea a sloth could have so much personality! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I can't say enough about this place. It's nice and clean and the animals all look good. We did the elephant encounter with Handler Joey and his family and they made the whole experience AMAZING!!. This has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember and I am so happy we did it at Wilstem!. Definitely lifelong memories! Thank you so much Wilstem, Joey and staff!!!

There were a few bumps at first but things smoothed out and we had an awesome time. The grizzlies are the highlight of the drive through safari, you park your car and walk to their area, it was a great experience. Jeff is top notch and will talk about the bears as long as you want to. We followed up with the giraffe encounter and again it was great. Looking forward to a hopeful return in the future.

We had a wonderful time, and got engaged! It was a very special weekend for us! The Carriage House was very quaint and cozy. Everything was set up really well! We love the animals being right there so we didn't have to travel further from where we stayed! Staff was helpful and the young girl at the counter was really friendly. The safari entrance lady was also really helpful and nice! Some staff could have been sightly warmer with their personalities, but overall it was great!

My friend an i went there yesterday.. It was nice but i think $81.00 a person to spray the Elephant with a hose was alot.. If we could have done more with it would have been better..

You don't just spray elephants with water the experience is more than that. On arrival you get to feed either a baby goat, horse porcupine or a wallaby. You also get to cuddle the wallaby, stroke the kangaroos and feed the giraffes, this is before you enter the elephant enclosure. Once in the elephant enclosure you get to feed the elephants, stroke them and wash them, if you are a total elephant lover then this is the ideal experience. I loved every minute and worth every dollar.

How much to get in for the da ay

We spent 15 each for everyone over 2. 2 and under is free. The animal exhibit was free and free encounters. You do have to pay 5 extra dollars to play with the kangaroos. Also the safari ride in your car is worth it. The park gives you the food to feed the animals along the way.

Could you go there and not pay 81.00 to wash the animals.?

This is a business not a charity. We should be so lucky to have independent business like this available to the public. Pay the money it's worth it- and the animals dont eat for free. It's all a good cause.

Do you have any handicapped-accessible cabins, with a roll-in shower, or hotels nearby that do?

Joan Slichenmyer | May 11, 2019
Mimi | May 12, 2019

I think by law all hotels/motels have to have 1 per so many rooms. I believe I saw a ramp to 1 or 2 of the cabins. With that, those cabins are probably for handicap.

$15 a person plus $2 a person (can't remember what the extra $2 is for) so basically $17 per person. Kids under like age 2 are free. Cup or carrots (for camels) or cup of grain/feed (for hoof stock) is $2 each.
