Ordered a curbside pickup and was told that it would be ready at 1:23PM. Showed up a little early and waited patiently in my car as instructed until 1:30, then decided to go inside as they may not have realized it was curbside (this has happened many times). I asked and they said that my food wasn’t ready yet. No biggie, I get it. Around the 15 minute mark I asked again and was told it still wasn’t ready. I told them it had been almost 20 minutes since the time they said it would be ready and was not responded to. I continued to wait until 1:45PM and finally asked if I could just have my money back and cancel the order as I had to be back to work by 2PM. I was told that I couldn’t have my money back since they already started working on the order. I pushed back and said that wasn’t acceptable and that I wanted my order cancelled as I had to leave or I’d be late back to work. Nope. They insist that they can’t do it and I have to wait. My sandwich finally is given to me around 1:48PM, almost 30 minutes after the quoted time. I was not offered anything for the inconvenience, or even given the tea that I bought while I waited like they normally do. After getting back to work I opened my sandwich and they didn’t even make it right. I will not be back, which is a shame because I used to be a regular here. The quality and service has gone down significantly since Covid, while the prices have gone up.

i have been to McAllister's Deli a time or 2 in my hometown of St. Louis. Decided i wanted something different, and went here. And wow, not only was the service great, the food was great. As a vegetarian its hard to find good options when you go out for food. However, that Four Cheese Melt, and Veggie spud does the job. Not to mention great tea (try the peach its delicious), and some good dessert even (for cheat days 😋), all around great........

First time going to this location for lunch yesterday and more than likely, my last. Whoever the manager was running the shift yesterday at this location was horrible! She is rude and VERY unprofessional. I've managed a restaurant before and I would NEVER allow somebody who is that unprofessional to work, let along run my business. But on the flip-side, the food was great.

Joseph was very patient with our ordering. While we were truly indecisive, due to it being our first time there, he took the time to tell us the difference in the menu options. Patience is a virtue that is rare these days. Also his menu suggestions were pretty accurate. The food was good!
