Used to come here a lot. Store got a half-arsed remodel recently but the shelves are empty, everything's dirty, there is stuff all over the floors. Manager nowhere to be found. The store was MUCH better a year ago, now all the employees are all different people and It's a complete disaster now. Not going back.

I have never seen a line in this particular store. This time however, the line was almost wrapped around to the grocery section. They had two people working that day and for some reason they decided to leave someone who had just started working there all by himself when the store was clearly packed. I guess the other person who was working was on a break. And while making sure that employee's get their required break is important, I know that if I was that other person and I seen that my store was backed up and I left a newbie in there. I would have cut my break short and helped with the customers because customer service is the only thing that is a must in any store setting. If I had a choice I would have waited for a manager and let them know that if it wasn't for the fact that I knew the guy was new, My Ol Man and I would have left and went somewhere else.

This is the very best Dollar General in the area. The manager and staff are always so very kind, patient, and helpful. The reason most customers only spend an average of 15 minutes here is because, unlike the larger super markets, they don’t have to spend hours going from aisle searching for items.
