This place is awful. My mom was diagnosed with pneumonia....which was not what the xray report read...was admitted on 12/22/19 early. She did not get any treatments for several hours and even then only because I questioned! No hand sanitizer in the room. Soap was expired. No face tissues. No calf compression things...said they were out of them. At first we were told they had no walker but found one later after I complained. She would have never gotten any water if I had not been there. WARNING TO EVERYONE THERE NOW. Watch out for your loved ones, they are probably not getting any better and in renal failure from no water!!! They had actually told my mom her kidneys were showing dehydration from lab tests...well duh, you have to drink water if there are no fluids being given in the IV! No treatments were given that weren’t able to be given at home! I had to ask for an incentive spirometer! Her oxygen wasn’t being monitored. NOTHING was being monitored. She was completely ignored in between med passes unless we specifically asked for help....some of the patients there were too sick to ask for help, mom was one. They had only 2 nurses and no nursing assistants for the care of all the patients on the 2nd floor. I asked the nurse to help pull her up in bed and she replied with pointing to her obvious pregnant belly and said she really couldn’t. The nurses were nice except this one, Megan, who shouldn’t be there if she can’t do her basic nursing functions!!! There is no ICU. If the patient gets worse or codes, the only option is for the ER to stabilize and transfer. Basically a bandaid station and you would get the same level of care at urgent care!! The hospitalists, generally NPs, were different every day! So obviously wasn’t their main job and were just there as a side job. Pathetic that you cant pay someone enough to want to have this job full time! They refused to discharge my mother when she asked. Vitals were perfect, no fever, labs all perfect, sputum culture negative, blood culture negative, so why were they keeping her only to let her lie there all day? I was the only one to encourage getting up in chair, and walk her to bathroom. They gave her a bath once (she requires assistance with bathing even at home). I was told we would have to sign AMA since she hadn't been there “long enough”. They warned me if we did this that insurance may not pay for the hospital stay. We were afraid to leave. I could have pulled the IV out and did everything she was getting at home!!! They were milking the system!!!! Which just so happens to be VERY illegal. I and my family will be expecting a call and apology very soon, but it will not be just an apology we will be expecting. This is all happening at a very terrible time, Christmas is in 2 days and I had to leave half my family at home to care for animals due to the suddenness of this. I drove from NC to see that she was cared for properly but I felt so helpless to help her even though I knew more what she needed than the hospitalists and nurses. I hate the way that healthcare sucks in a little town like this and there is nothing we can do but complain on reviews like this to get this system fixed! We are still in the middle of this as we speak, she has not been discharged and the hospitalist was not willing to address this and come out and discharge her today. I understand everyone has another life outside of work....I do too....but just do you job the way you are supposed to. You had better hope that she doesn’t get C Diff or something worse while being there unnecessarily....since none of them washed hands and only used hand sanitizer. I'm sure you know hand sanitizer doesn’t kill C diff!!!!

My foot is broke. They said it's not broke. I was fine with that. Itll heal eventually. ( the technicians there have never been able to read anything acurately). But this one really ticked me off! An Ambulance took my friend in after having a seizure (she has epilepsy) they treated her like garbage! Because she foamed at the mouth they assumed she was a drug addict. To them every person that comes through that door is a no body. Everyone gets treated like a pill head regardless if they've ever taken pills. It would be laughable if it wasn't so disgraceful!

Not a good place at all took my grandpa there twice within a three day period, he was sent home both times with undiagnosed sepiss and stroke took him to a different hospital he was addmitted and treated the best they could but he was so sick from not being treated properly to begin with by this hospital ER that he died. Do not take your family here!!!

The worst Hospital !!! Sent my mother straight out of ICU home she was so weak my husband had to pick her up and put her in our truck and the next day we had to rush her to another hospital with pneumonia.
