I was happy start to finish. I got right in and was seated with James. He asked what I wanted and I said a bunch off but I wasn’t sure. He said I needed a swoop cut for my texture and to lift my hair. I asked him to do his magic and boy did he nail it. I could not be happier with the result. I’ll be back again. 😁

JAMES COX!!! Ask for him! You will not regret it. I drive from Raleigh for James to cut my hair even if I have to go 6 months without a hair cut, I will wait until I can get to James. He is knowledgeable and gives great instruction on styling. Talented. Entertaining. Does not shy away if you bring in a picture of a style you like. Oozes confidence!

I used to go to great clips in the Beu Rivage shopping center in Wilmington Nc. The only reason I went there was because of a hair stylist named James. I wasn’t going to get a hair cut unless it was from him. The other day I called the monkey junction location and was informed that James had transferred all the way to the Porters Neck/Hampstead location. So of course I couldn’t resist the urge to get James to cut my hair. I decided to drive up there in the middle of tornado warnings and had a little hour drive from my house in Carolina beach NC. I went up there and once again James did a phenomenal job. This is why I will continue to make the drive over and over again as long as James is in this profession.There was also a younger stylist doing hair right next to me and after her clients hair cut was complete, James turned into a teacher and was sharing his technique with the other stylist. James is just all around an amazing experience. I hope that the franchise owner of this location values him as much as the people getting haircuts from him. This man needs a serious pay raise. Thank you James!!
