Hired them to install my windows - they left windows unfinished for several weeks. Trash, cigarettes, pieces of woods, nails, & other scraps in my children's nursery and all over the yard. It took me over 3 months to get them to come out and halfway finish the job. The still didn't seal the windows & their corporate office told me "well that's as good as its gonna get. If you want better you'll have to hire another contractor to fix it" (knowing that doing so would void the warranty) Buy your windows from literally anywhere else.

First time at Lowes in Dunn, Sanford is my "home/normal" store. My husband and I had an encounter with a very RUDE employee. An older Caucasian lady with white, shoulder-length hair who was working in the plumbing department on June 22nd, 2022 around 8:00 pm. Not sure what her day had entailed before our contact with her, but she really doesn't need to be working with the public. My husband (never had been in this store) asked her a couple questions about where a part was for a hot water heater set up and a rebuild kit for a Delta faucet. The lady seemed very off put that he dared to ask her questions about anything. She answered him with a snarl on her face and a tone that was really uncalled for. Very condescending and demeaning. Needless to say, we will not be spending another dime here. The truly sad part is, we were in no-way anything but overly friendly and nice because I know people have off days. It was an all around bad experience. Life is too short to be rude and miserable, even at your job!

My dealt circular saw I bought new 15 years ago went out last week from heavy use and using it over the years teaching teens construction and carpentry. School always had big bulky and heavy saws that teens were not comfortable with in learning. Mine always was the easiest to guide due to being a lightweight model and more comfortable for them. So I go to Lowe's in Erwin yesterday and find the new lightweight model dealt with brake and it is tagged for $139. I got it and I was rung up at a $159 list price and stopped the buy to ask why it was listed at $139. Long story short, they honored the $139, as they should have and sold me the saw for what it was tagged.

I understand needing good reviews for a business, but to have employees leave the reviews is very misleading. It is not only against company policy, but very disappointing. The reviews are meant for customers to look. They need to be accurate based on how another CUSTOMER feels about the business, not about what an EMPLOYEE feels. Shameful and hopefully future customers reading the reviews catch notice of this.
