Came in around 12:50 there were people waiting so we sat to wait as well. This is normal form Sunday. The staff then proceeded to block off an entire section of the restaurant with customers waiting leaving only the bar and 3 booths. There were 6 people working, if that’s what you call it. We have new coming here in Sunday’s for a long time and have dealt with the foul mouth of the staff, the fighting between each other of the staff, poor or non service because we have sat and watched many customers leave because they were not even asked to be waited on, and the just plain unprofessionalism. I mean it’s Waffle House and we’re in Lexington, we don’t have high expectations. But, to block an entire section with customers waiting, it’s just ridiculous. So, I decided to leave a review which I’m sure doesn’t really matter because clearly the staff could care less.

Refused to serve us and three other families. Literally all but one of the employees, who was cleaning a counter, was sitting down and on their phones (this coming from a teenage girl). After fifteen minutes of waiting and not being acknowledged, we asked if we could place our order. They said they're not cooking right now. We asked if we could at least get drinks, they said it would be a while. If they were busy, we would've understood, but they were just chilling on their phones. After we walked out, three other groups walked out.

Friendly bunch of people. Quick service. Breakfast was good.

Waitress was kind and helped the order cost less. However the only part of the place that was not blocked off was the three booths beside the bathroom. The rest of the place was "closed." When a small family walked in soon after to be seated one of the staff asked them "are you sure you want to eat here?" Mind you, the three tables were filled with 4 people in total but the other side of the restaurant was available but closed off. The customers were totally confused and eventually the staff relented and "let" them sit over there. I'm still not sure why this happened but whatever the reason, the presentation of the reason could have gone better. The food was actually pretty good but it came out 5 increments, which is a nuisance to eating a meal with someone.
