The food was really good and our waitress was great. The hostess, however, was absolutely and completely rude, to the point that we were considering walking out and going somewhere else. She was rude when we first walked in, didn't greet us, then rude when we asked about seating. She had us wait for over 15 minutes to finally take us to a table that had been unoccupied the whole time. Then once we were seated, my husband asked her a question about the drink menu as she walked by, and she rudely said "I wouldn't know, ask your waitress". Unacceptable. It was not crowded nor rushed, she had no reason to act the way she did. I didn't get her name, but I'm sure you can figure out who she is. We were there on 06/29/2022, around 8 or 8:30. If she can't have some manners when it comes to helping customers, then she sure shouldn't be your front of house. We spent almost $200 last night, just to deal with that. Had she been a waitress, she would not have received a tip, and I ALWAYS tip, and tip well. Thankfully our waitress was great and she got a tip to reflect that. As far as the hostess goes, do better.

Wait time for a table was unreasonably long considering it took 20 min to be seated and had no other customers waiting, we finally got seated at a table that had been empty the entire wait. Floors were incredibly dirty and trash everywhere. When the food came, it was as if it had been in the microwave too long. The burger that I ordered had some kind of animal part that I didn’t recognize, it looked like some kind of veiny membrane. After sending the burger back because I had completely lost my appetite, I was still charged for it. I have always had bad service at this location and this was my first time coming back in about two years, needless to say I will not return. I’m sure other customers that were there will say the same, considering we overheard people at two other table complaining as well.

I'm gonna be as professional as I can be with this review. I love chili's, always have, but recently a dangerous matter was put upon my wife. To put things into perspective, my wife is 8 months pregnant, so food is touchy for her anyways. We bought chili's and got the chicken for her and the fajitas for me. Because they didn't check the chicken she got food poisoning. We got this confirmed from our doctor for her appointments for the pregnancy. This is dangerous because it's a huge health hazard that needs to be addressed. It's dangerous because thus illnesses like this can kill our baby. I have presented thus matter to management and so far I have not seen any change. Be warned people they don't check your food and they don't care about your health and safety. I wish I could give zero stars cuz they don't deserve one star at all.

I'm on it giving two stars because there were only two employees serving. And honestly I feel like one of them was cooking. We were not greeted upon entry. And after 5-10 minutes of standing and waiting to be acknowledged and seated, one employee finally leaves the bar area to give us a table. It took an extremely long time for the food to be served. As long as it took for the food to be prepared, my meal should have been hot once it reached the table. Only thing hot was the fries and that's only because the kitchen staff did not put fries on my plate with the meal I ordered and had to cook them fresh. Food and service definitely could have been better! I have a bad experience every time I go to Chili's in Forest City, NC. And I keep going back hoping it has gotten better, but sadly it has not. My dad still tipped way more than the server deserved tho. Because it wasn't his fault due to Chili's staff being this way for over a year now. Honestly would never eat at Forest City, NC Chili's ever again. It was TRASH! And I hate wasting money on food. Just my opinion!
