I like the people that are there the lady at the office I checked in with is nice I don't know much about campgrounds but I do know this place is pretty cool to be at decent place parking camper and get a little sleep at night

Very nice campground. Clean facilities and love the cabins. I would like to give it 5 stars, however the mattresses on the beds in the cabins are so, so very uncomfortable. Basically they remind me of gym mats. The mornings were tough due to that. Otherwise it is a place my friend and I visit every year.

My husband and I camped at Dutch Cousins many times over the years and never had any issues with old owners. With that being said.. new owners took over and when I made reservations for a cabin (which I spoke with the new owner) and when I made reservations she had me pay for one night in advance and never bothered to mention if you needed to cancel you would not receive any kind of a cash refund. Talked to the lady that answered the phone and she said the policy is on their website. I explained to her I did not make the reservations online. She didn't care. The owner has yet to call me back, but she did tell me that he will not return our money. The new owners don't want to give you any of your money back, they put it toward a camping credit for a year. My husband has been off work for 3 weeks and is going to be off for another 2 weeks at least, we have no money coming in and that money would have helped a little bit ( hence the reason we had to cancel). We have decided we will never stay at Dutch Cousins again. These new owners are trying to get rich overnight.. they keep your money and then they will rent it out again. Crooks I tell ya! But hey if they can sleep at night stealing money from people then I guess that's all that matters. Not a happy camper Jeannie Arnold
