This Safeway is a great grocery store. Always clean, rarely any bare shelves, fresh produce, large wine/beer/liquor selection, tasty croissants, and a Starbucks inside (and also across the parking lot). This morning near 8am there were no checkout lanes opens, only self-checkout. Perhaps the store is trying to save ~$50 by distributing their operations to their customers? So glad there was a very helpful and kind self-checkout person, because I had 15+ produce items. When no other customers were in the self-checkout, she stood by me and provided the 4-digit code for each produce item, saving me the time of looking each up by name. Very much appreciated!

Safeway has good meat and fresher produce, so I like to shop there. They've added a self check out, I presume for speed. It did not look inviting.

Love this place! I park my truck and get picked up for the day of work. I have not had a single issue so far and I’m so great full !
