A DSHS office. You'll probably wait a long time, and the hardware they use for the waiting system is probably at least a decade old. But it's a government office under bureaucratic rules, what did you expect? Also, with the "Safe Place" sign up, I'd better start hearing about how they respect people's pronouns. Or I might start calling workers out for being toxic.

Usually way faster then most other offices, will never go downtown again thats for sure. Also was succesfull getting into whichever benifits progam i was attempting every time so this one of my favorite offices so far

Stuck at the WORST Dshs office, avoid if possible. This DSHS facility is awful waiting at DSHS is never fun and it's for sure a long wait but having to work with the people specifically at this DSHS has been some of the worst service I have ever received from a helping agency I moved over a year ago and to this day I'm still having difficulty getting all of my paperwork set to my current address. Now mind you I did turn in a change of address form specific for DSHS over 11 months ago why is it I'm here again and dealing with the same issue trying to find a DSHS worker that can correctly change my address well filled out the paperwork again let's see how it goes the unfortunate thing is that the level of incompetency doesn't stop with just the front end workers it continues on to the social workers and even up to the high post of the social worker supervisor Kelly Bigalow if there is any way that you can avoid this particular DSHS office I would the office that I have found to be the most helpful is the DSHS office on the North End of Seattle which is located on the North Seattle Community College campus

The one star is for their convient location. I have had enough of these buricratic androids that are programmed for red tape. Forget calling them they NEVER answer the phone so you have to leave a message. Debating weather or not to terminate my tang case because of them.

Why am I getting a repeat on a busy signal? Cannot not get through to a live representative ever.
I believe they are currently closed still.
I think online @ Washington connection maybe
Nope not yet
If you have to ask this I think you are out of touch with society as a whole.
DSHS does not call clients. You will receive no fewer than two letters before you lose your benefits.
Witch office are you close to
Yes

No
What welding school are you attending? We have a program that assistance individuals who receive public assistance (food stamps) that could pay for school and tools. But you must be in a state community college and depends on their funds available.
