AMC DINE-IN Desert Ridge 18

This theater just needs help. It is supposedly a Dine-in, but you still need to go get your food when you walk in and you need to get your own popcorn filled—definitely not a dine in. The popcorn had been sitting out and no fresh-popped in sight. The butter stations did not have butter. The countertops by the drinks are covered in sticky goo. I was worried about going into the theater. The bathrooms themselves were tidy, but I could only find one soap dispenser that worked. When we got into the theater, I was pleasantly surprised. Our seats and chairs appeared clean. The chairs were comfortable. I was so happy this theater showed the Marcel movie. We loved the movie.

I went to an 8:30pm movie. Facilities were clean, staff was pleasant. Didn't have food aside from popcorn. I'm not sure if they were trying to use up the dregs from the day or what, but I got a regular sized salted popcorn (not one of their gourmet flavors) and a good quarter of it was tiny pieces. For the price, I'd recommend checking what's in the popcorn popper before ordering. Overall, I think it's a good spot for a dine-in movie experience.

It's good place but room for improvement. dine in service could be better and my seat was covered in popcorn before we sat down. so i guess their cleaning isn't the best. Definitely bring some wipies to clean up your little table on your seat and possibly your seat as well.

I give it 3 stars a because it's a dirty theater. I understand about being short handed. If it were me, I'd have an employee who's job is to keep the food area clean. The staff was nice and got our order correct. I like the other AMC dine in better because I could order from my seat and avoid the crowd and the mess. Our server was polite and courteous. The movie was great, our seats were clean at least. For the amount of money we paid for food and tickets, the place should clean. Can't stress that enough.
