It takes a great heart to be the guardians of special kitties. Please find it in your heart to donate for blind kitties!!

The cats are very sweet and well taken care of. I took my little brother to visit them and he enjoyed himself a lot. It’s a nice way to spend a couple hours and it’s completely free to come and play with the cats. They really enjoy the company 😸

St Pauls, NC is the only place I'm aware of with a rescue like Blind Cat Rescue. If they have an opening, they usually have voluteers to get the kitty to BCR. They have kitties from all over residing there. They currently have a cat from France!
We only accept blind, FIV & Felv cats when we have space available. Please go to petfinder.com and talk to local rescues to see if they can take them.
Because Building 1 needs extensive repairs that can not be done with the cats in there.
Thanks for asking! They are at the printers now, we are hoping for late this week, early next week. Please make sure you get our newsletter or follow us on Facebook. We will be announcing them on social media :)
Ask your vet to clean out the empty sockets and sew the eyes closed. That will take care of the infections. Thank you for giving a blind cat a home!
Danyka, A lot depends on what the volunteer will be doing and their maturity level. We will allow volunteers 16 years old and up without a parent. Volunteers under that age must have parents present.
She's still there and sent a thank you letter when I bought calendars. Fabulous charity.
No Blind Cat Rescue is a forever home for the cats who live there.
Hi, thanks for asking :) If you go to our webpage www.blindcatrescue.com there is a sign up box at the very top.
Not sure which cat was stephanie? I have 33. And none of them have the name they came with. Was stephanie the blind and deaf white kitty I called Bella
Hi thanks for asking! Paw points mailed to us are kept until they reach an amount that `buys` a pallet. The official site says on boxes over 28 pounds but not pails. I would look under the `wrapper` in case they are printed there. 😊
Kathy, the most important is if we have space available. We run at capacity almost always and when we do have space,a cat in an animal control facility will get preference since they will be killed.
I'm not sure why I got your message, and not sure why you are bringing your cat to Blind Cat Rescue but you can't just bring a cat there and leave it, you have to contact them and set up to see if they have room. They can only have so many kitties in the shelter at one time by law. You can Google Blind cat rescue st. Paul's North Carolina and get their contact information
Why are you unable to take them to a shelter? Look for a no kill animal shelter in your area. Where are you located? This rescue only does blind, FIV, or FeLV positive kitties, but they may have resources for other places for you.
Why would you want to turn your cat out of its home just because it lost its sight ?? Your (and its home) are all the poor critter knows.
