Very friendly place, I want it there to grab a couple things they had a little sale going on so I went and picked up some items the staffing is very nice polite they said to me good morning and did I need any help finding anything and I said no I knew everything was. Very nice place to shop at! 👍

Every time I go here now it reminds me how far down they have fallen, and how overpriced. The cashier tried to charge me multiple times for one item. Somehow they have the power to disable certain discounts, so I had to ask for that. Food selection is almost half what it used to be. Quality is 3rd world. Packages of food are opened and put back. Floors are filthy. You can't leave your phone in the phone slot on the cart without someone eyeing it. I don't think most people there even know where the phone slot is. And they've ruined the "French bread". That is not French bread, that is an oversized bolillo or McDonalds hamburger bun; nasty. It smells of B.O. constantly so that you can't even smell the bread in the bakery. It was hot and humid inside, maybe that's why. They let screaming kids play bumper cars with the elderly electric carts; so I watched this poor old man hobble through the store. The speaker announcements are so much louder and raspy; I don't think they know how to use the mic. It wouldn't be so bad if they were in English at least; besides there are other languages spoken in this country you know. Idiots keep parking in the DriveUp & Go lanes and they don't do anything about it. This is why I decided it's just easier to go inside; what a mistake. This place should be torn down and install a Sprouts.

Bakery department was awesome & was just freshly stocked with what I originally set out for. I appreciate vast options as well as fresh goods. A few of their customers appeared rude; they should've stayed home until temperament simmered not quite fair to take it out on the rest of us

I've been going to this particular Safeway for about 20 years. Over the past 5 years, I've noticed a decline in everything from the store personnel to cleanliness to the products on the shelf. Went shopping in December of 2021 and came across this EXPIRED oatmeal. Not just expired by a week or two, but by MANY MONTHS!! And this is not the first time this has happened at this store. Hey store manager, products are supposed to be rotated! Maybe you should go through your store and pay attention to what's going on...or not going on. Soooo gross.
