Providers are rushed, because they’re graded on how many patients they “process,” rather than outcomes or patient satisfaction. This makes them be arrogant and impatient, not listen to direct questions, and in general not care about anything other than getting patients out of their offices as quickly as possible. Further, the wait time for appointments with any provider is often 2-3 months. I’ve occasionally gone to their ER as I was unable to see a doctor for months. You (nominally) can communicate with your providers via Kaiser’s message service , but they don’t respond. I would change, but I doubt any other HMO would be any better. Suggestions are welcome.

As far as specialists go, Dr. Chandler and his LPN, Suzy in sports med are AMAZING! They are always open to getting me in when I need and working with me on choosing the best route for treatment and what next steps are if first choice doesn’t work as we plan. Its been way easier to get in to see specialists than it is to see my own PCP… 🤷🏻♀️ I am extremely grateful to Dr. Chandler and Suzy!!

I told my wife while I was in the examination room that I could hear your team saying goodbye to each other for the evening and I was amazed by the kind words that were shared as each one left for the evening. Also I received that same personable touch from both Physicians, the initial greeter that took my vitals, the woman running the front desk and the radiologist gentleman. The actual examination, consultation and advise was also very professional. I told everyone that I wouldn't mind meeting them outside for a cup of coffee but I wasn't going to rush back soon. If you have to go to the doctors this is the team you want to encounter. God bless have a wonderful day

This review is for the Urgent Care only. My last experience on the other side was so horrendous that after years of receiving excellent care there I find myself unable to return. I love Kaiser, but a few members of the front desk/office staff wiped out every good experience with conduct. 1. 24 hour service means no longer waiting for hours to be seen. 2. The staff at the Silverdale Urgent care are always kind and friendly 3. The Doctor took the time to explain what was causing my pain and gave me a clear cut path to dealing with it.

Kaiser members can sign up to receive that vaccine if they are in the current distribution phase. Right now, the vaccine is being offered on the weekends 8 am to 5 pm by appointment only to those who meet the phase criteria. Appointments might be full for the next month or so.
I believe Tuesday and Thursday is until 7 but you have to be there by 6 and Monday, Wednesday and Friday are until 5. I would call to double check though

Thank you for reaching out, Phillane. Beginning Sept. 2, our urgent care is now open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Weekend and holiday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will be closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
They have prompt care. It starts at 3pm has various closing hours depending on the day. Its on their website
I would call Kaiser's referral line. They can give you all of your options, then you can research each of them.
